Our cruise ship itinerary showed a full day in La Romana. The onboard available excursions were excessively expensive and we managed to get a better deal directly online. In the port the taxis, arranged by the excursion company, were waiting for us and after they filled up with more clients for the same cruise excursion we were off to Bayahibe. After arrival in the shop of Seavistours we were told in which boat we were and we met our tour guide. The tour guide we had was lovely, he was from Greece but he spoke fantastic English.
I would undoubtedly recommend this trip - it turned out by far the highlight of our complete cruise vacation. We really discovered the Caribbean of our imagination.
